Inspection Procedure 7

POSSIBLE CAUSES - INSPECTION PROCEDURE 7

Shocks when shifting from N to D and long lag time Possible cause
When the engine is idling, abnormal shocks or a lag time of 2 seconds or more occur when the selector lever is shifted from N to D range. In such case, the cause may be a defective rear clutch or valve body.
  • Malfunction of rear clutch
  • Malfunction of valve body
  • Malfunction of closed throttle position switch
