4. Check For Open In Harness

1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect the ECM and WSS connectors.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal 1 of the WSS harness connector and terminal 18 of the ECM harness connector.
3. Measure the resistance between terminal 2 of the WSS harness connector and terminal 17 of the ECM harness connector.

   • Specifications: below 1Ω 

Does resistance indicate continuity? 

Yes: Go to next step.

No: Repair open in harness.
