3. Check MIL For Proper Operation

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and reconnect the MIL connector.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  3. Ground MIL connector terminal 11 (12) and check for proper MIL operation.

Does MIL operate correctly? 

Yes: Go to next step.

No: Replace MIL.
