3. Check Power To Ignition Coil

1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect ignition coil connector.
2. Turn ignition switch to ON position and measure voltage between terminal 3 of the ignition coil harness connector and chassis ground.

   • Specification: approximately B+ 

Is measured voltage within specification? 

Yes: Go to next step.

No: Repair open or short to chassis ground in harness.
