1.6 DOHC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  • Poor connections
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty PCM
  • Open or short in battery circuit
  • Dirty air cleaner
  • Air leak in intake system
  • Contaminated, deteriorated or damaged TPS
Threshold value
  • Consumed fuel (model) - consumed fuel (actual) > 10L or < -10L
Enable Conditions
  • Fuel level signal is valid
  • Consumed fuel (model) > 15L
  • Fuel level change at instant < 0.4L
  • 15 sec after ignition on
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec
Fail Safe
  • Throttle position value is determined by function of engine speed, MAP sensor and idle duty.
