Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor
NOTE:
On Sonata, Engine Control Module (ECM) uses MAP sensor signal to determine condition of EGR system.
On Accent, Elantra, Sonata 2.4L and Tiburon 2.0L, backprobe and measure voltage between MAP connector terminals No. 1 and 4 under specified conditions. See ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL. Compare voltage to expected values. See MAP SENSOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS table.
