DTC P0102, P0103: Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor: Notes

NOTE: MAF sensor measures the mass of air passing though air intake and is located in air cleaner housing. ECM uses MAF sensor signal to set fuel injector base pulse width and ignition timing. MAF sensor requires battery voltage at sensor terminal No. 3 and ground at sensor terminals No. 1 and 2. As air passes through sensor, pulses are generated at sensor terminal No. 4. As airflow mass increases, pulse frequency increases.
