DTC P0102, P0103: Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor: Notes

NOTE: MAF sensor is located in the intake air duct between the air filter and the throttle body. MAF sensor measures the mass of air passing through the intake air duct and generates a pulsed signal. As airflow mass increases, pulse frequency increases. ECM counts the number of pulses and uses the signal to set fuel injector base pulse width and ignition timing. The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is built into the MAF sensor assembly.
