Blower Motor Resistor

  1. Blower motor resistor is mounted in blower motor housing, behind right lower crash pad. Disconnect blower resistor electrical connector. Remove resistor from housing.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2 (thermal fuse). If continuity does not exist, replace resistor. If continuity exists, check resistance between resistor terminals. See BLOWER RESISTOR RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 .

Low 1 & 2 2.2-2.6
Medium Low 2 & 4 1.1-1.3
Medium High 2 & 6 0.4-0.5
