Removal Procedure

WARNING: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Pipe Warning .
WARNING: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .
CAUTION: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Caution .

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
  2. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service  in order to disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe (2) from the following:
    • The fuel tank module
    • The fuel tank vent valve
  3. Disengage the EVAP pipe from the clip on the fuel tank.
