Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear seat belt retractor assembly to the vehicle.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the bolt which retains the seat belt retractor assembly to the body and tighten to 52.5 N.m (39 lb ft).
  3. Install the rear seat belt upper guide with the bolt and tighten the bolt to 52.5 N.m (39 lb ft).

    Ensure that the seat belt webbing is not twisted.

  4. Install the rear seat belt upper guide shoulder bolt trim cover.
  5. Install the body rear corner trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Lower Trim Panel Replacement (H3T) .

  6. Install the rear seat belt anchor bolt and tighten to 52.5 N.m (39 lb ft).

    Ensure that the seat belt webbing is not twisted.
