Installation Procedure

  1. Align the wiper transmission to vehicle.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the bolts (1) retaining the wiper transmission to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).

  3. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Upper)  or Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Lower) .
  5. Engage wipers and check for proper operation.
