Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Ensure the ignition coil seals are properly seated to the camshaft cover.
  1. Install the ignition coils into the camshaft cover.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the ignition coil bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors to the ignition coils.
  6. Install the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .
