Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering pump bracket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the power steering pump mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement in Engine Mechanical 2.8L or Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement in Engine Mechanical 3.5L.
  4. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
