Removal Procedure

  1. Clean the master cylinder and electronic brake control module (EBCM) assembly with denatured alcohol.
  2. Remove the EBCM assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) Replacement .
  3. Loosen the mounting bolts for the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).
  4. Remove the BPMV from the mounting bracket.
