Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear brackets to the sunroof module.
    2. Fig 1: Sunroof Module Assembly

  2. Install the sunroof module assembly to the vehicle.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the retaining bolts to the sunroof module.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the retaining nuts to the sunroof module rear brackets.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the rear drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (SUT)  or Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (SUT) .
  6. Install the front drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement 
  7. Synchronize the sunroof motor and module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization .
  8. Install the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
  10. Verify proper operation of the sunroof.
  11. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
  12. Install the sunroof finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Finishing Lace Replacement .
