DTC B12C5 (Keyless Access Power Control Unit): Inspection

+B_SMART, SS1(+), SS2(-), GND Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Engine start/stop switch connector (10P): disconnected
  • Body control module connector C (66P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	+B_SMART circuit inspection	OFF			12 V battery voltage[circuit type 1]
	SS1(+) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	SS2(-) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	GND open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	SS1(+) shorted to ground inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MOhms
	SS2(-) shorted to ground inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

  If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
