DTC P0506: Inspection

Throttle Body Visual Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Throttle body inlet hose: disconnected from the throttle body

• Procedure
  • Do the throttle body cleaning - Refer to: Throttle Body Cleaning () or Throttle Body Carbon Accumulation Check () .
  • Check the throttle valve and bore for dirt, carbon, or damage.

• Normal Conditions
  • There is no dirt, carbons, or damages.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the throttle body.
