ACC Combination Switch Internal Resistance Check:

    1. Measure the resistance between the ACC combination switch 12P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 9 and No. 11 according to the table.

Position Resistance at normal ambient temperature
    OFF (Released) 2.0-2.4 kΩ
MAIN (Pressed and held) 54.3-66.3 '
CANCEL (Pressed and held) 165.0-201.7 '
    SET - (Pressed and held) 401.7-491.0 '
    RES + (Pressed and held) 802.7-981.1 '

If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the ACC combination switch.

    2. Measure the resistance between the ACC combination switch 12P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 8 and No. 11 according to the table.

Position Resistance at normal ambient temperature
    OFF (Released) 2.0-2.4 kΩ
DISTANCE (Pressed and held) 401.7-491.0 '
    LKAS(Pressed and held) 54.3-66.3 '

If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the ACC combination switch.

ACC Combination Switch Illumination Circuit Check:

    1. Check the LED for illumination by applying power and ground to the terminals according to the table.

NOTE:  Important operating characteristic; diode bias causes a diode to fully conduct electricity in one direction (forward), while not at all in the opposite direction (reverse). If the results are not as specified, replace the ACC combination switch.
