Switch Internal Resistance Check

1. Measure the resistance between LKAS switch connector terminals No. 5 and No. 12 according to the table.

Position	Resistance
OFF (Released)	2.0-2.4 kΩ
LKAS (Pressed and held)	54.3-66.3 Ω

If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the ACC combination switch.

Switch Illumination Circuit Check

1. Check the LED for illumination when connecting battery power and ground to the switch terminals according to the table.

NOTE: Remember this important operating characteristic; diode bias causes a diode to fully conduct electricity in one direction (forward), while not at all in the opposite direction (reverse).

If the results are not as specified, replace the ACC combination switch.
