Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE: 

• Where icon is shown, further information shown below.
• If the body control module is replaced, do the keyless access system registration . If the original body control module is installed, confirm that all systems work properly.
• The body control module has a component of the immobilizer system. The body control module must be registered when the body control module is replaced, or the vehicle will not start.

1. Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box - Remove
2. Fuse/Relay Holder A - Remove
3. Fuse Holder - Remove
4. Connectors - Disconnect
5. Body Control Module - Remove
6. Dashboard - Remove

   NOTE:  Only required if removing the bracket.

7. Bracket - Remove

   1. If necessary, remove the bracket.

8. All Removed Parts - Install

   1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

9. Keyless Access System - Register
10. Body Control Module - Update
