Engine Oil Pan Removal & Installation: Removal
- 1. Drive Belt - Remove
- 2. Splash Shield - Remove
- 3. A/C Compressor - Move
1. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the A/C compressor (B).
NOTE:
- Do not disconnect the A/C hoses.
- Do not bend the A/C hoses excessively.
- Hang the A/C compressor with a wire tie.
- 4. Engine Oil - Drain
- 5. Exhaust Pipe A and Exhaust Pipe Bracket - Remove
- 6. Engine - Support the engine with a transmission jack and a wood block under the oil pan.
- 7. Lower Torque Rod - Remove
- 8. Transmission Jack - Remove
- 9. Lower Torque Rod Bracket - Remove
- 10. Torque Converter Case Cover and Transmission Mounting Bolt - Remove
- 11. Oil Pan - Remove
1. Loosen the bolts, then using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the lower block in the places shown.
2. Remove the oil pan.
