Driver's Door Power Tailgate Switch Test/Replacement

  1. Remove the driver's door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the driver's door power tailgate switch (B).

  3. Remove the two mounting screws, and then remove the driver's door power tailgate switch.
  4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table below.

  5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb (A) or the switch.
