VSA System Description - TCS Control
Engine TCS Control
The engine TCS control outputs a torque down signal to the PCM when slipping is detected in the driving wheels during starting, accelerating, and cornering.
The torque of the driving wheels is lowered, which prevents slipping and maintains tire grip.
Brake TCS Control
With brake TCS control, a brake signal is output from the VSA control unit to the modulator unit when slipping is detected while the driving wheels are running on a low-traction road or a similar surface.
