Cruise control cannot be set (Cruise Control)

Diagnostic procedure
- Check the PGM-FI system .
- Check the No. C34 (15 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box.
- Do the cruise control combination switch test .
- Do the cruise control input test .
Also check for
- Open circuit, loose or disconnected terminals: PUR or TAN wire between the cruise control combination switch and the gauge control module
- Faulty gauge control module
