DTC B2045: Left B-Pillar Close Switch Signal Input Error

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2045 indicated?
YES -Repair a short to ground in the wire between the left power sliding door control unit and the left B-pillar power sliding door switch.
NO -Go to step 3.
- Push and hold the close side of the left B-pillar power sliding door switch for more than 5 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2045 indicated?
YES -Repair a short to ground in the SCOM (LT GRN) line.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections between the left power sliding door control unit and the left B-pillar power sliding door switch.
