DTC P0A1F (122): F-CAN Malfunction (Battery Condition Monitor (BCM) Module-Motor Control Module (MCM): General Description

The motor control module (MCM) receives data from the battery condition monitor (BCM) module through two channels of the controller area network (CAN) (F-CAN, IMA-CAN).

When no information is sent from the BCM module to both the IMA-CAN and F-CAN for a set time or more continuously, or when the information sent from the BCM module is abnormal and this condition continues for a set time or more, the MCM detects a malfunction in the BCM module and a DTC is stored.
