HFL Switch Test

  1. Remove the HFL switch (see HFL Switch Removal/Installation  ).

  2. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 in each switch position to the table.
    RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART

    Position Resistance
    No buttons pressed About 1 kΩ
    HFL TALK button pressed About 185 Ω
    HFL BACK button pressed About 49 Ω
  3. If the resistance is specified, replace the switch (see HFL Switch Test  ).
