EVAP Canister

Connect vacuum gauge to canister purge air hose, located at bottom of canister. See Fig 1 . Start engine. Increase engine speed to 3500 RPM. Vacuum should register on gauge within one minute. If results are not as specified, inspect purge hose for blockage. If hose is okay, replace charcoal canister.
