Ignition System: Notes

Battery voltage is supplied through ignition switch to the ignition coil and to ignitor unit. The ignitor unit is triggered by the control unit based upon signals from the TDC, CRANK, CYL (if equipped) and other sensors. Induced voltage from ignition coil is then distributed to each spark plug by the distributor.
