EGR Temp. Sensor

EGR temperature sensor is located in base of EGR valve. If a fault occurs in EGR temperature sensor circuit or EGR temperature sensor fails, DTC 71 will be set in ECM/PCM memory. For testing procedures, see TESTS W/CODES - 1.8L article.
