Severe Conditions Definitions

Severe driving conditions are when vehicle is operated under one or more of the following conditions:

• Most driving is in stop-and-go traffic when outside temperatures are greater than 89°F (32°C)
• Delivery service, Taxi or Police vehicles
• Trailer towing
• In hilly or mountainous terrain
• Most trips are less than 4 miles
• Most trips are less than 10 miles, and outside temperatures remain below freezing
• Driving in dusty areas.
