Chart 9B-4B - Cruise Indicator Light Does Not Glow During Cancel Test: Notes
With vehicle's drive wheels raised, CCM lights CRUISE indicator light when CCM senses the wheels turning and all cancel switches open.
NOTE:
Numbers below refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks for voltage signal from stoplamp switch circuit.
- Checks for parking brake/brake fluid level switch signal.
- Determines if fault is cruise control switch or in VSS circuit.
- Checks for faulty parking brake switch.
- Checks for short to ground in Red/Black wire or faulty brake fluid level switch.
