Fuel Pump

Electric fuel pump, located in fuel tank, receives power when ECM provides ground for control relay. Fuel pump delivers fuel to the injectors where system pressure is controlled by fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pump internal check valve maintains pressure in fuel lines after fuel pump is turned off.
