Heater Blower Resistor Testing

WARNING: To avoid accidental air bag deployment, refer to AIR BAG DEACTIVATION  under TESTING in this article.

Remove heater blower motor resistor electrical connector from blower resistor. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance across all resistor terminals. If continuity exists between all terminals, heater blower resistor is okay. If continuity does not exist between all terminals, replace heater blower resistor.
