Operation Temperature Control Lever

When the temperature control lever is moved to full HOT position, the air mix door is fully opened. Fresh/recirculated air is mixed with air flowing through the heater core and distributed to selected outlets. In the full COLD position, the air mix door closes, by-passing the heater core. Adjusting the air temperature control lever allows more or less unheated air to mix with heated air. See Fig 1 .
