Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")
- Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")
- Remove puddle shift switches (A) after loosening mounting screws.
- Disconnect puddle shift switch connectors.
- Remove the steering lower cover (A).
- Disconnect steering wheel switch connectors.
- Remove the steering wheel switch after loosening mounting screws.
