Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels are placed in the straight ahead position.
  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")

  4. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the paddle shift switch (A).

  5. Disconnect the paddle shift switch connector (A).

  6. Loosen the mounting screws and remote the lower cover (A).

  7. Disconnect the remote control switch connector (A).

  8. Disconnect the ground connector (A).

  9. Disconnect the heated steering wheel connector (A) and haptic motor connector (B).

  10. Remove the remote control switch bezel (A).

  11. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the remote control switch (A).
