SERVICE INFORMATION

Information

Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates use wireless communication to deliver the latest software directly to the vehicle. As an update becomes available, the software can be deployed over the air and installation initiated by the customer. Refer to TSB 23-GI-004G for OTA general information.

DESCRIPTION

OTA is intended to be performed by the customer within the vehicle. Only if the OTA fails, proceed with the GDS Manual Update outlined in this TSB. This procedure updates the software to improve the surround view monitor system on certain 2023-2024MY GV60 (JW1 EV) vehicles.

Applicable Vehicles:

NOTE: To avoid potential damage to Genesis EVs, Genesis EV repairs can only be performed by EV certified Genesis retailers.
