Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the Residual Pressure in Fuel Line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  3. Remove the Intake Manifold.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")

  4. Remove the delivery pipe foam (A).

  5. Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A)

  6. Remove the rail pressure sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.

    Tightening torque: 

    17.6-21.5 N.m (1.8 - 2.2 kgf.m, 13.0 - 15.9 lb-ft)
