Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. If it is necessary to remove multifunction switch assembly, remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Steering wheel - "REMOVAL ")

  3. Remove the steering column shroud panel.

    (Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")

  4. Disconnect the multifunction switch connector (A), steering column angle connector (B) and airbag connector (C).

  5. Loosen the mounting screw (A) and remove the multifunction switch assembly.
