DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring voltage range (Circuit open/short check)
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty TCM power circuit
  3. Faulty TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage between 10V and 16V
  • Engine speed is higher than 400 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Solenoid power voltage is lower than 7V or higher than 20V
Detecting Time
  • 0.1 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
Fail Safe
  • Locked into 5th gear
  • Teaching/Fuzzy not allowed
