Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad center panel [RH].

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "CRASH PAD CENTER PANEL ")

  3. Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the shower duct (A).

  4. Press the lock pin and then disconnect the heater control unit connector (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the heater control unit (A).

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Be careful that the coolant may flow when removing the heater core.
