Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to ground in IAT signal circuit
  3. Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage is lower than 0.04V
  • Short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
