Front Brake Pads

Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from the front hub.
Tightening torque:

107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire.
Remove the brake hose mounting bracket from the knuckle.
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

Remove locking pin (A).

Remove guide pin (A) from the housing.

Loosen the hose eye-bolt (A) then remove the brake hose.
Tightening torque:

24.5 - 29.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf.m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb-ft)

Loosen the caliper mounting bolts, and then remove the front caliper assembly (A).
Tightening torque:

78.5 - 98.1 N.m (8.0 - 10.0 kgf.m, 57.9 - 72.3 lb-ft)

Remove pad spring (B) and brake pads (A) from the caliper.

NOTE:

Matching the direction of the arrow on the pad and the vehicle forward direction.

Apply the grease evenly on the sliding part as shown in the figure below.
Grease: NEVER - SEEZ - REGULAR GRADE (ITW)
Do not spill the grease on the break disc, it may damage the brake performance.
Be careful not to leak the grease at the outside of housing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
