Check Open And Short-To-Ground
- IG key "OFF".
- Disconnect IBU*_BCM connector, WMM* connector and "WIPER MOTOR" connector.
- Measure the resistance between "LIN" terminal of IBU*_BCM harness connector and "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector.
Specification: Below approx. 1Ω
- Measure the resistance between "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinity (∞)
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "CHECK SHORT-TO-BATTERY " as shown below.
NO
- Check open/poor connection between "LIN" terminal of IBU*_BCM and "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector.
- Check short between "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector and chassis ground.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
