Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

NOTE:

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to prevent damage to the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Loosen the mounting clip and remove the passenger's front door body side weatherstrip (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

Loosen the mounting screw, using a screwdriver or remover and remove the crash pad side garnish [RH] (A).

Press the lock pin and disconnect the various connectors (A).

Loosen the mounting screws, remove the AVN keyboard assembly (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
