Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front bumper assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Disconnect the active hood unit connector (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting bolts, remove the active hood unit & sensor assembly (A).
