Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Open the glove box (A) in the direction of the arrow.

  4. Remove both stoppers (B) from the glove box (A) by turning the stoppers.

  5. Separate the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

  6. Disconnect the push-pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).

  7. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  8. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel [RH] (A).

  9. After loosening the mounting screws bolts and nuts, remove the glove box housing cover (A).

  10. Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A).

  11. Disconnect the lamp switch connector (B).

  12. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel assembly (A).

  13. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the A/C & heater controller unit (A).

  14. Disconnect the connector (A) and the air hose (B).

  15. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
