Short To Ground Check

  1. IG "OFF". Disconnect FECM, fuel pressure sensor connector.
  2. Measure the resistance between power terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Infinite ∞Ω

  3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good FECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
